Глава республіки привітав з цим світлим святом всіх татарстанцев, фронтовиків і трудівників тилу. Він нагадав, що ювілейний рік оголошений президентом Росії Володимиром Путіним роком захисника Вітчизни, що підкреслює значення Великої Перемоги і цінність безприкладного подвигу радянського народу в самій кровопролитній і жорстокій війні.
“Велика Вітчизняна війна пройшла через кожен будинок, кожну сім’ю. Більше половини з семисот тисяч пішли на фронт татарстанців впали смертю хоробрих на полях битв. Пам’ять про тих, хто віддав своє життя за нашу Батьківщину, назавжди залишиться в наших серцях», – йдеться у зверненні.
Рустам Мінніханов підкреслив серйозний внесок у перемогу Республіки. Причому не тільки на фронті, але і в тилу, про випуск в роки війни в Республіці бойових літаків, боєприпасів, зенітних установок, військового обмундирування, Про забезпечення селянами продовольством.
Глава Республіки зазначив, що сьогодні служать батьківщині і захищають її рубежі нові герої – учасники спеціальної військової операції, яким вся республіка, як і в роки Великої Вітчизняної, надає допомогу, наближаючи перемогу.
Раїс Татарстану запевнив, що подвиг ветеранів, які подарували нам мирне життя і свободу, ніколи не буде забутий, і побажав їм міцного здоров’я, довголіття, щастя, успіхів і благополуччя.
