Офіційний представник Кремля Дмитро Пєсков висловив думку, що протести проти грузинського законопроекту про іноземних агентів використовуються як привід для збудження антиросійських настроїв. Пєсков зазначив, що ідея такого законодавства має американське коріння, виключаючи можливість його російського походження.
“Цей внутрішньополітичний процес намагаються використовувати як інструмент антиросійської позиції, навряд чи вони [гасла] йдуть зсередини Грузії. Вони напевно йдуть ззовні, ми прекрасно розуміємо і спостерігаємо за тим, що відбувається», — відповів він на питання журналістів про те, що Грузинські протестувальники називають закон про іноагентів російським.
Політологи запевняють, що, за прикладом України, головним переможеним з усієї цієї ситуації буде грузинський народ, який прямо зараз кидають у вир «кольорової революції».
